IF YOU APPEAL A CITATION

YOU ARE ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT CITATION

 

FIRST LEVEL CITATION APPEAL
Parking citations may be appealed online or at the Customer Service Office, Bldg. 112 Gale Lemerand Dr. (corner of Gale lemerand and Mowry Road), Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Appeals must be filed within 30 calendar days of issuance of the citation.  The online application is for initial appeals of citations less than 30 calendar days old only.

SECOND LEVEL CITATION APPEAL
If the initial ruling regarding the appeal is unacceptable to the appellant, a second level appeal may be requested before a University Hearing Authority.  The Statement of Appeal to a University Hearing Authority must be filed with Transportation and Parking Services in writing either at our office or online within 30 calendar days from the issuance of the decision regarding the initial appeal.
In order to request a second level appeal the citation(s) must be paid in full before the request is filed.

SUSPENDED PARKING PRIVILEGES APPEAL
All persons whose privilege to park on the University of Florida campus has been suspended have the right to appeal this suspension to restore that privilege.  A successful appeal is the only way to restore this privilege before the next enforcement cycle.

IMPOUND (BOOT/TOW) APPEAL
A Person whose vehicle has been impounded shall have the right to a Probable Cause Hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to determine if the vehicle was impounded according to University of Florida regulations.
